1001 Photography motive # 60 Pillow

Every house hold has one pillow to take pictures of I guess. It must be. Or maybe my wife just has some fetish regarding pillows. They are every where around the house. 

They also come in all shapes and sizes so it should have been easy to pick one out to take the photo. In stead I picked one Image out that I took when I visited the studio of my friend and fellow photographer Micehele Clement down in San Francisco .  

Old or new embroidered or not they can give a life to an image all depending on the message you want to get through to the spectator . Being a rather dead object it is here that the use of light shapes the feeling you want the image to bring to the audience. Old, Calm, romance ( as in this photograph) or  comfort.
If you want some fun and action in your photograph  you just get a handfull of models and put on a pillow fight.
Given that the limits are in the sky not your mind this is an easy task
