There are no Volcanos spewing in Iceland now, but not long ago I dreamt it would happen this year. So far no activity but the earth has been shaking. Last time there was an eruption in Iceland..

I flew over Mnt Hekla, the most active one in Iceland, an exiting flight with a crazy pilot that flew whery low, but when the sky cleared enough for some photographing the action was mostly over. So no picture of red flowing lava, only some smoke.

So this time I present you with an all day all night every year active Volcan Arenal in Costa Rica. This was shot during the night on a long long exposure.
