1001 photography motives you can easily find
Once in a while the question pops up in a chat board over here in Iceland weather there are any good places to photograph in a certain location.
This got me wondering about writers block and photographers block. Could there possibly be any such thing. Any one scouting bookstores or the internet should know there are plenitude of books about writers block . So somehow I figured there could not be any about photography block but that was not true.
There are equally as many articles about photography block on the internet, bearing names like 10 favorite photography motives or 5 Ways To Spark Your Inspiration and make Money Selling Your Photos or 50 travel photography ideas. One even gave an interesting 250 different photography topics.
I have to admit I got puzzled. Could it really be that people needed this. Maybe? I do not know. I know only that if you think you are blocked then just pick up your camera and start pointing it at any thing and every thing around you. There are bound to be at least 50 items around you to look at, that is before you stand up from the chair and start walking around.
So because photography is like a fairy tale and a picture can say more than 1000 words I decided to check out if I could find 1001 different photography motives in my files and of course I did. Going through my keyword list quickly revealed this. But while checking it out I also found a bunch of other ideas that I did not have as well as some I could easily find a different angle on. There is always a thing or two to take picture of. Just open your eyes as well as your mind
I might show some of the ideas here in the future, who knows even all 1001 ideas one at a time. Until then just have a look around you. simplest of things can become a motive.
