Camera porn

Camera porn is something Im not much into. In fact I would say I was not at all for camera porn. A camera is like a car. Tool to be used to get you from a to b. In this case get your photographic idea from A to B.

Already in school I was plagued by this thought. We had access to bunch of Hasselblad cameras but only one Mamiya.
I chose to work with the Mamiya because it just felt better to work with plush I liked the 6 x 7 format better than the square format.

Ami Vitale that just opened up here new web site filled with images and fantastic layout works with Nikon cameras and does a fantastic job. Today I on the other hand do have Mark ll as my main Canon in the Arsenal.  It suites me fine and has proofed to be quiet a work horse.

Why am I rambling about cameras. Today is the Nikon expo day in Iceland and Nikon will show off their new DX3S and bunch of lenses amongst other things. I am most interested in seeing what the Swedish fotografer (sweedish spelling) have to offer as they will show the Icelandic camera buffs how they work. Not all to often that we get some foreign Photographers to come over and show us their work.

So to celebrate this Nikon day I pulled out an image that I think I did with a Nikon camera. It was some time ago. So if it was not then who cares. Its the end result that counts not the equipment. I mean who cares what kind of shovel you used to dig a hole, as long as the hole you where supposed to dig is there.
