Strawberry fields.....macro food photography

I know my mother said to me that I should not play with food but in this case I just could not helpt my self. I had these fresh strawberries in hand and a macro setup ready so why not postpone the eating and try out the luck in some macro food photography. Tom Waits is said to have pointed out, while driving, to whom ever does send him ideas, that he was indeed driving, and asked him please to wait or send the ideas to someone else. Well I was eating and the Idea came flying to me so there was no waiting neccesary.

There had for some time been lurking in the back of my mind a concept idea but I did not know how to deal with it. So I set it in one of my brains drawer for later use. Its actually filled with Ideas for later use that probably never will see the light of day as new stream in. Any ways it struck me while eating the strawberries last night how to deal with this idea. So up with the table top and postponing of delicious meal and on to work.

I wil take the time this winter to work on those images but here are two macro strawberry images that ar a tad bitt different from what the endresult of the concept is going to be. Fore these you can add whipped cream, chocholate or champange depending on taste
