Sand

Sand 

Sand is a work in progress. Here once again I am looking at the effect man
and his work has on nature. Sand and gravel is used for building houses
and roads. Where do we get all that material from. In some cases we have
mountains disappearing and being torn down. In other cases they are
drilled through. All in the interest of man and progress.

Here the sand gathered at one of the concrete mixing plant in Reykjavik,
Iceland form mountains and landscape of their own. Thus getting a
second chance of showing of their beauty before being blended into urban
landscape

My cliff broken
my mountain torn
stings the eye
sand like thorn
